We wanted to remind you that buying vintage is not like buying retail. Although we have a retail store that is clean and professional where all of our inventory is maintained; As with any honest vintage reseller, we can not guarantee that a garment was not ever in a smoking or pet environment in its previous life. Many of our clothing items are over 50 years old and clothes can take interesting journeys before they come to us. So please be aware that any vintage item you purchase (from anyone) may have been in:
-Previous smoking environments.
-Previous pet environments.
-Previous musty storage environments.
We want to be clear that all of our inventory is out on our shop floor. There is no smoking and no pets allowed in our store. Neither we nor any of our employees smoke or have pets that come in contact with our merchandise.
As a professional vintage store, we make every attempt to ensure your vintage garment is free of odors and because it has been shown that previously undetected odors do sometime revive during shipping (due to being in a confined space) we do pack all of our items with organic, allergen free static cloths fragranced with organic essential oils.
We provide detailed instructions on refreshing and maintaining your vintage items once you receive them.
Please also understand that vintage items are usually used items. So not only has time itself had its say (and sometimes way) with your garment, someone else has too! We do our very best to go over each item that we purchase into our inventory with an educated eye and disclose any imperfections that we find to you; But unless a garment has been museum quality stored, even deadstock items (items that were never sold from stores then stored for decades to be sold later wholesale, usually still has the tags, etc) will usually show some sort of imperfection. Slight sunlight affectations, small snags in the fabric weave, pilling of knits, etc are considered average wear on a vintage garment. Small scratching, pitting and very slight warps and bands of jewelry and accessories are also considered normal wear. Anything repeating, in a large grouping, larger than a pin hole, or obvious would absolutely have been disclosed before purchase :)
*DRY CLEAN OPTION
We offer to have your garment professionally dry cleaned before sending it out to you. This is merely an option that some of our customers like to do so the garment is freshly laundered upon arrival but is not necessary to purchase the item. We use a local professional dry cleaner.

Sizing details
Fashion: We do our very best to flat lay measure all of our clothing items in addition to estimating the US numerical size when one is not clearly visible on the garment tag. Having said that, garment fit does vary from designer to designer and decade to decade so we encourage you to pay special attention to the flat lay measurements provided in the description of the item.
Vintage Condition
Most of our vintage garments fall in one of three categories:
Dead Stock - These are pieces that never sold in the stores. They still have their original tags and have never been worn.
Gently Loved: These pieces are used. They have been worn and part of someone's wardrobe at some point in time. These items may have some visible signs of wear and we do our very best to photograph and document any flaws on the garment.
Re-Invented: These are custom, one of a kind pieces that have been restored, repurposed, re-envisioned or reimagined into a new piece by using other vintage items and findings. Many times, these pieces merge different decades together and are just fun special garments.
Vintage Condition Continued...
Regardless if you choose a vintage garment from dead stock, used or reinvented, there will most likely be some sign of age to the garment. A brand new dress will show some age after 50 years even if its just sitting on a hanger. From a stray thread, a loose button, slight fading, or the occasional fraying or spot; Vintage clothes are well, vintage. We do our very best to document and photograph any imperfections we find and encourage customers to take the time to read the full descriptions of items listed on our shop.
